Arranging a baptism

Our baptism services usually take place on the first Sunday of the month, at the 1030am service, although we occasionally have a thanksgiving service at a different time.

How do I arrange a baptism for our baby?

We love baptising the children of Christian parents, and you will find the whole church family is committed to welcoming you, supporting and helping you in every way possible.

We invite parents to attend our Sunday morning services on a regular basis before we make the arrangements for a baptism.   It’s helpful to see at least one baptism before you commit yourselves to arranging a baptism for your own child, so that you can be certain that you are in a position to take on the commitment that baptism involves, and to make the promises before God and his people that a baptism includes.

Once you have been with us for a few weeks on a Sunday morning, you have seen a baptism for yourself, and you are keen to go ahead and arrange a baptism for your baby, then please contact Jane Eaman by email or by ringing 654713.

We’ll write to you, explaining the various options that are available, and one of the clergy will then visit you at home to explain the details, and make the arrangements with you.
